Discussion
Pistonheads, Surrey Meet....5th August, Fairmile pub between Esher and Cobham. From 11:30 but I was suggesting 10:30 might be better....for me anyway!

Thanks for joining our run yesterday! An other great one and good to see everyone!
Next run: 19th August.
Only a few of us are definite; we have a couple of maybes.
I'm happy to do a relatively low number run, but I'm tempted to go watch the Biggin Hill car show. This year should be an amazing event.
Let me know if you want to go and we can do a little run prior to it!
Following run: 16th September.
This time perhaps we should head east.
Please confirm both dates with me please ?
Best wishes

Hi Bertie - we spoke at Biggin Hill yesterday (orange Elise - Mark). I've joined the PH forum and found your thread, and I note the intended date of your next run out, which I can make as things stand at the moment so I'll keep an eye out for updates.
Hope you enjoyed the air show. My OH (also a Lotus owner btw but front wheel drive), after wondering what all the fuss is about with the Red Arrows (never having seen them in a display before), is now fan...of course!!

Excellent show: cars + aircraft. Win, win. The Red Arrows always put on a good display.
Just a shame that the proximity to London controlled airspace precludes their full height programme at BH.
I took a shed load of pics during the afternoon. Here are a few of the Arrows.

Hello,
If you are driving east on the 16th September and have a spare space I may be up for bringing the Spider out as I am based in East Kent.
Depends on weather really as I try not to use it in the wet...it's no fun with the hood up...and I am trying to keep the rust "half-life" at a slow rate...
On the other hand, it's only been out twice this summer...criminal.

Thanks, Andy.
Today's run was what it's all about ! Couldn't have been better! Great roads, perfect weather, beautiful start at Sunrise, really great bunch of people! Thank you to all who could make it, and thank you to our RedDevil for such enjoyable itinerary! Really looking forward to the next one!
Which will be on the 21st Oct, we played with the idea of ending at Brands for a formula Ford event, and actually... a cool little suggestion was made, and we'll probably stay on the boarder of East Sussex / Kent to do a breakfast event. Details to follow shortly.
No need to book breakfast for this one ( I think ), but please drop me a personal email to confirm with me sooner rather than later if you can make it.
