Important update – Silverstone Classic 2020 cancelled
As noted above, unfortunately the Silverstone Classic has now been cancelled for 2020. Anyone who has already bought tickets for this year can either get a refund or opt to attend in 2021 instead.
We intend to return again next year with a club space so if you want to hold onto your booking, then we'll see you there next year!

Not surprised it was cancelled but why did it take so long, tickets were still being sold up to 31 May 2020. In terms of refund if you booked by credit card you are entitled to a section 75 refund under the Consumer protection Act. If by debit card it is more difficult unless the process of refund is made easy by the organiser. However did you book via "SEE Tickets" a call centre based in Nottingham? The are acting on behalf of Goose Live Events Limited of Godalming Surrey. The event is hosted by not organised by Silverstone Circuits Limited and there is no claim against them.
Assuming no one goes broke, with so many other major events cancelled or put back to 2021 how does anyone know the date of the Classic and what else it might clash with?

I'm not surprised - how do we hold our place for next year? Can you add me to the list.
We'll need to wait until the event and provisional dates are confirmed for 2021, but once we know and confirm we'll be having a club area again, I'll post in here with the new details on signing up.Norrie1873 said:
Ben - how sure are you that either the Events Company who run the Classic or even Silverstone Circuits Limited will still be in business in 2021
I've got no idea either way I'm afraid. But given how successful the event has been, I would be very surprised if it didn't happen next year.Assuming that the event goes ahead safely this year, as it stands we intend to be there. In order to park in the PistonHeads club display area at the Silverstone Classic, you will need to drive a car on the following eligibility list. Prices start at £47 for TWO people!
Once you've confirmed your car is on the list below, visit the event website here and access the package using our exclusive booking code: 2020CCD065 and then add yourself to our Wiki page here.
err, what am I doing wrong here?Once you've confirmed your car is on the list below, visit the event website here and access the package using our exclusive booking code: 2020CCD065 and then add yourself to our Wiki page here.
£47 for 2 people as per above. I tried booking 2 Adult tickets for Sunday, £53 each, added the code (it was accepted) but £0 discount, so £106 for 2 people not £47.
Am I being thick?
