We went today, first time for me and my two boys, wasn't really sure what to expect. Wandering round the heritage centre is definitely very nice, and I would have loved to have spent more time there but it was all very static and the kids were bored stiff inside 15 minutes. Won't bother taking them again (bit of a trek as well, 3 hour round trip). Stayed over an hour, and there were some lovely cars, big Bentley's, more GT40s than I've ever seen, a nice blue /white classic Ferrari "something" that drove around a bit mid-morning. Could have done with more bikes, Series A HRD was the highlight there and the RD350 YPVS I saw on the way in had gone by the time we got to it.

Wishing I'd taken a card from the guy doing the F1 painting, anybody know who that is?

Thanks Kevin - I’m taking some parts for Mark and that saves me a detour to drop them off if we are both at the event

Really great day today, first time attending and would certainly go again. The weather certainly helped! A great turnout and a really well organised event.

A couple of pictures below whilst I edit some of the others;

Ta, he had a black Merc one on the go and a few for sale at about 225, a Renault top view, a couple of modern Silverstones and a nice Mansell in red 5.

I went with my mate Will (big "needy fker" BMW Barge fanboi) and took some pictures

Photos

Gathering of the Bargistas (PH Barge thread 1 - 5 Large) "Socially Distanced"

BM's Rather tasty E500 seems to have seen a mouse biggrin

Got to see my old E38 740 - paintwork is really cleaning up well I was quite green with envy - forgot to take pictures so have a green Golf

Not std and a rather large snail

Looking quite hard TR6 with a squint

RR'r "Fresh&Minty" with a cactus (lowered, colour coded on black Lotus alloys)

What's that over there Will?

Will "Why the fk are you taking pictures of a Mondeo?"

Me "No Gaffer tape mate - let me check the front"

wooo hooo none there too biggrin

Moving swiftly on I'm a huge fan of colour co-ordination (Seat colour matched the wheel centres)

Have another

What I hear you say is colour co-ordinated there - it's all in the detail

Ring ding a ding ding ding (I could see the frame twisting as I looked at it (the original mean green widow making machine)

What's for lunch - fancy a hot dog - yes please make mine with mustard

"Christ would you just look at that Will"

Will "Oh that XJS looks lovely"

"No you loon it's a Micra Colette - when was the last time you saw one of them"

I think I lost WIll at that point biggrin

So I had to take a picture of the XJS - nice Wheel and tyre combo - classy without being too much

I have no fking clue what this is - please feel free to edumacate me if you know

I didn't bring mine because I knew someone would bring theirs Dave Franzack "Not Normal" on here did not disappoint

It still looks bang tidy and puts mine to shame

Nice Arse

Rep-tastic with plastic trims on steels and everything - a few years ago they were bloody everywhere now only a car shows

Wonderfull engine bay - really clean

Obviously waiting for the boot lid to go rusty for extra scene point

I like short plates but WTF is this all about

Then I found a boat

Obviously I needed to find a

It's how my mind works - sorry!!!

Then I found a shovit

And a metro 8R4

Std Scooby forum joke "I'm thinking of repainting my Impreza - is blue and gold too common"

Keeping with the rally car theme

Smoker - lungs are fked

Non Smoker - Liver is fked

Want to see more you know what to do - "like" "subscribe" and "all that good stuff"
