Yes Sunday February 13. Just a note that the grass parking area is likely to be damp at best .
Thanks

Just looked at the weather forecast for tomorrow.

Not fancying a trip out in the classic quite so much now.

Pity as it's been fairly dry for ages but tomorrow looks like heavy rain all day.

Hope it's better than forecast for those that attend. Have fun.

Good morning with some very nice classics and vintage vehicles. Luckily the rain started at 11.30 when it was finishing.

Brilliantly eclectic meet again - if I ever figure out my new phone I’ll post some pics. I was there in my Alpina estate.

Not sure if any of you know but Walton Bridge Breakfast Club hosts events like this, on tarmac. Facebook group for info. Less frequent but a great gathering.

Perfect morning for it yesterday (10/04/2022) and a stunning eclectic mix of machinery.

When's the next one - it was too cold and wet for me this week plus I was ill anyway.

Should be 2nd Sunday of May?

It was lovely, a bit cold at 07:45 which Is why I had to wear a bike helmet in the blue car above, but it was dry, perfect weather for a car meet. 2nd Sunday in May for the next one.

By my reckoning, the next meet is this Sunday 8th May.

Yes, the next one will be Sunday 8 May and the weather forecast is looking good.

I'm planning to be there as I love the variety of cars that turn up.

Great eclectic mix of cars last time (the nice weather helped), looking forward to tomorrow.

Hi, what time without getting there extra early would guarantee a hard standing parking spot? If it’s full I would leave as not prepared to go in the field.

There is no guarantees on hard standing parking. When it’s full the grass is in operation and it works very successfully.

Get there at 7 if you want no grass.

The field is lumpy, and will be wet, hence why I ain't going. Its no good for cars that have lower clearance.

It gets stupidly busy.

A) last time I got there at 8 I got in the car park

B) the grass wasnt wet and not that bumpy in the field

C) if you’re that precious about your car maybe it’s time to sell it!

Bit defensive. The fact is, a lumpy uneven field is not suitable for all cars, particularly those with splitters or low front ends.

But yes, surely the answer is not to be careful about where I drive, but instead to sell the car rolleyes

Field was bone dry, lots of very nice cars parked in there, even those with splitters, spoilers and low undercarriages.

A great morning of so many cars of all eras. Thankyou for the donations left for the bee leave childrens charity.
