I was disappointed there wasn't a PH gazebo (unless I missed it!). There normally is and I wanted to get some PH stickers!

Enjoyed the event and the museum was great too.

Pistonheads - Where moaning matters!

Where you turn up in your average modern to moan about people bringing average moderns... This is peak PH moaning!

Despite the cold, always nice to have a wander round a few cars. I know you'll never get as many 'exotics' as you would in summer but it's nice to get a winter car fix so I had a good day out, thanks to PH for organising!

Although I couldn't stay long I enjoyed seeing what people had brought along and catching up with a few old friends. Glad the weather held!

Your M5 one of the highlight cars we saw there; it's lovely.

Thanks to all at PH for organising the event, it was a good day with such a broad range of cars and many many mk5 GTis. Didn't manage to get many photos this time which was a shame as that E39 M5 cloud9 & the Jag XJ R cloud9

The museum was good with a lot of history, I do home we can keep manufacturing going in the UK.

Roll on the next event!

The distance / weather will also have an effect on what cars you get there. A lot of more interesting cars will be SORNED for the winter.
Exactly - I had the choice of a few classic convertibles but it was too cold and my mate had SORN his interesting cars so we came in a hot hatch - I even cleaned it !

Seen a few pics on instagram it looked a good turn out! My car isn’t on the road yet. Makes me feel a bit of a tart considering an Atom was there?! Haha (mDifficult was that you?)

Saw an orange performance edition ST as well. Really want one as my next daily! Wish I’d of gone.
laugh Wasn't me this time! I had a passenger so decided not to torment them and took the 1M instead. Full hero points to the guy who did though - bravo!

The Atom was mine.
Bravo mate - was lovely to see one. Was going to stop for a chat but you looked pretty deluged with the usual question-crowd so I left you to it!

My first time going to a Sunday Service, so apologies if the observations aren't typical:

Apart from the museum, there wasn't a PH focal point - so a PH stand / gazebo or something might have helped to gather newbies together.
Happy to wander around, but didn't stop to chat to anyone in particular, as it seemed everyone knew each other?
The Golfs were an amusing collection - good to see they were all parked together
The Abarths I think were from a separate club (lots said West Midlands Abarth Club on them)
The museum cafe was overwhelmed I think, but coped and the museum itself was worth a visit if only for a reminder of British cars history and how little we produce now!

The cars I enjoyed seeing most were the Emira, A110 and I was very impressed when the Atom turned up - dedication in the cold (and for the 5 or so Caterhams too).

There might well have been more interesting things had it been a warm June day. But if you're going to complain about the type of vehicle there, you better have bought something interesting yourself... or did you turn up in a financed Fiesta expecting everyone else to be in a supercar...

The ferrari was for sale, £65k from memory, if anyone wants to take something fun to the next PH meet.
Up at £72k (or £68k standard) and a bargain at that wink Plus if you buy it I guarantee I'll also bring its equally fun replacement to the next PH meet so gives an extra 'interesting' car for the fold - Now that's a win win biggrin

Couldn't make the full event due to other commitments but was a broad range of cars and some decent surprises given it was a slightly chilly January morning smile

I popped along in my old Boxster and thought it was great, met up with some car friends from back in the day, had a very enjoyable walk around the museum and saw some interesting stuff in the car park. Great way to spend a Sunday morning! biggrin

Sorry my ‘stupid’ battery car offended you! But the Panda you liked did used to be my wife’s car 13 years ago smile

I thought it was a good morning out and I was surprised at the variety of cars there, despite the salty roads. Kudos to the drivers of the Atom and the aero-screened Caterham for braving the cold. Actually a whole bunch of Caterhams arrived a bit later, so fair play to all of you!

I liked that there were the odd “couples” in the car park, like the old & new silver/grey Mercs, the orange Fords and the TVR twins.

The museum was enjoyable, as always and I wonder if some previous commenters actually found the second building? I love all the JLR concepts and the old Rover stuff. Nice to see the “last Mini out of Longbridge” too. Maybe one day I’ll turn up to a Sunday Service in my own Mini. This time though, I was in the Emira, which I totally forgot to take any pictures of. Nice to see it in 3 of the 11 photos in this article! 😂
