It looks like there are some 'Pistonheads' hill run tickets now available.
Indeed there were, I just checked and managed to upgrade my general admission to a hill run, can't wait!It now says 'Sold Out' again so I must have been lucky and got someone's cancelled space. It's probably worth checking back regularly if you're wanting a hill ticket in case more spaces become available.

I have booked my runs on the hill climb but I don't have the license needed and when I fill it in I can't find pistonheads as a club what's should I put as the club name and member number for this event???
You should be able to skip selecting a club if you're not part of a local motorsport club in your area I Like Tea said:
I'm a hill climber in the road-going classes, if, you've not been before it's a lovely place to spend a day and looks like a great event you've signed on for. Some thoughts, it's a narrow course with a lot of jeopardy, particularly up to and through the esses where there is no run off. I've linked to a video below which shows the course and also the return road back to the paddock so you can see how that works. The video contains GPS speed data, please please don't treat it as a challenge . Have a great day.
Thanks for the VID..!I’ve been there many times (live just round the corner) I’ve often thought - what is it like on the last 3rd?
I think I will be bimbling up there - a bit of gas on the straights (?) everywhere else - waaaay back off the loud pedal… waaay back…
Appreciate your posting :-))
I love Prescott Hill Climb, I've done two Driving School days there and highly recommend it.
Even in an underpowered car it's good fun, here's a video from my first time in 2018 in my old Celica.
I was much better on my second time in 2019, managed to get third gear around Orchard. Though I did spin off the track at Semi-circle later in the day. Unfortunately my dashcam wasn't working that time.

Anyone know the general format for one of these days?
For the runs do they cycle through the whole paddock in order 4 times. Or does section A get 4 runs then section B 4 runs etc?
I don't know the answer (hopefully someone will tell us) but my guess is that it has to be more like the former no? Otherwise, section 'Z' is going to be sitting around all day before they get any action? For the runs do they cycle through the whole paddock in order 4 times. This is an assumption but if it follows the format of their other events, it'll be a full cycle of everyone, so your runs should be fairly evenly spread throughout the day.For the runs do they cycle through the whole paddock in order 4 times. Or does section A get 4 runs then section B 4 runs etc?

Are there going to be any show stands? Wondering if my old Celica would be of the caliber required to find a place on one?
No show stands as such (paddock parking is just for those on the hill), but I'm sure people will have a wander around the car park to check out the cars on display there too!MDifficult said:

That was my concern really given we are towards the tail end of the paddock. Getting there for a 08.30 briefing only to do anything at say 15.00 would be a bugger.
I’m not worrying - this is very, very far from their first rodeo so I’m sure they know what they’re doing Far more concerned about the weather

There’s a club practice day on the Saturday if that’s of interest.
Thanks, yes that is why I decided to go early. As long as the weather is good then it should be a pleasant weekend and if enough people stay overnight then the clubhouse might remain open Saturday night.MDifficult said:

That’s the biggest concern at the moment given that spring refuses to make an appearance…I’ll be alright but my mate in his Caterham will be moaning! Far more concerned about the weather
