I am on the reserves list but can I still come along / is there anywhere to park other than the 400car private area? Keen to bring my little girl for her first petrol head experience! Start ‘em young. Thanks.
No. Otherwise that would defeat the object of a 400 space list and it would be a free for all. People will drop out closer to the date however. Spleen said:

a bunch of dheads in their BMW 1Ms making tts of themselves and then there was the straight leaving the venue.
Really? 1Ms? Are you sure? MDifficult said:
Well, as a 1M owner it’s pretty rare to see more than one in the same place and they’re usually pretty precious to their owners - the idea of a gang of them tearing up MB World’s driveway seemed a little far fetched, that’s all.
I don't disagree, it was the grassed area at the end that some thought would be fun to spin around on, enough to leave plenty of evidence. I just thought the whole 'event' was a massive let down on so many levels. Whilst I didn't expect to see the Festival of Speed I thought there may have been more substance to it than just a bunch of people parking their pride and joy on a large car park for others to gawp at. Dunno, maybe that was the whole point.

That is exactly the point of a Sunday service and yet you’ve signed up to attend again…..jeremyc said:

I suspect he’s confusing the 1M with an M140i
More likely the M2, of which there were eight signed up to attend ...Edit: Correction on my part, it was the 2012 event!

Actually, that would make more sense. Whichever model it was, tearing up the grass wasn't the smartest thing on the day.

Perhaps much has changed at Sunday Services in the 10 years since you last attended. Hope you enjoy this one - see you there.

Makes more sense! The last PHSS at MBW was 2022 and I think they stopped around 2013. Didn’t see any issues last year. Edit: Correction on my part, it was the 2012 event!

I do hope it's a more refined and salubrious event than the last Sunday Service I attended. Those ruffians and scallywags with their four-wheeled horseless carriages had the temerity to operate their vehicles with neither hat, nor monocle! And, blow me if one of their ladyfriends didn't flash her ankles on the way out! Scandalous!
When was it you ask? Oh.. about 1910...
