Blimey….just read up on that….horrific times.
That’s definitely been added to the itinerary, although not sure the ladies will be so keen…
There is a place at the entry were they can sit and wait if they do not want to go inside. That’s definitely been added to the itinerary, although not sure the ladies will be so keen…
I see no reason why women wouldn’t go round the village. I’ve been many many times and always with wives etc.
If anyone does go it’s a good idea to time it correctly if you want to buy lunch as the restaurants are usually open and serving at midday.
You will need three hours minimum for going round the martyr village.

I'm thinking of including this year's event as part of a Euro tour, I can see tickets are available for circa 30-40 euro depending on where you sit/stand.
Is it as simple as booking the tickets, finding a hotel and rocking up? Or, does the town shut down and it's all a bit complicated. I'd be interested in any experiences folk have had.
Thanks.

Checking here https://www.circuitdesremparts.com/courses/billett... looks like all the seats are gone already. They were on sale earlier this year than last. A lot of accommodation options are already sold out but there are still Air B&B places available near the town. I went for the first time last year for the whole weekend and it was very straightforward. Stayed a couple of miles away, drove in every day and parked about ten minutes' walk from the town centre. I'm going again this year, just for the Sunday. Is it as simple as booking the tickets, finding a hotel and rocking up? Or, does the town shut down and it's all a bit complicated. Thanks both, looks like I've missed the boat this time round.
Still no reason not to go as you can see plenty without seating tickets and there’s loads to see over the entire weekend.Venisonpie said:
