err think I confused you there ted, I was suggesting me getting a spin in your motor. You're welcome to a spin in my current steed (the mighty purple ford fiesta)* but I doubt it'll float your boat.

Still waiting for bast*rd insurance co to fix my mg so I can trade it in for that elusive new car....

You're right. Take one stick and apply hands to wrong end...

You're welcome to a spin in the S - it's a bit pedestrian compared to the wilder TVRs though...

I am new to this site and have owned (proudly) a s3c for the last 6 months. The meeting sounds great and gives me another reason (as if I need any) to get out the Autoglym. Does any s series owners (or any other trevs)live in the Essex area and would like to go to Virginia Waters as a group/convoy?

Sounds good, I can come down to Maidenhead. We can meet in the station car park/Superbowl? Any ideas?

Hi all,

Newbie alert!

My first post on here.

Looking forward to coming to Virginia Water on Sunday to meet some faces and see your cars. I'm coming from Potters Bar in a black Seat Leon Cupra.

See you there.

Ted, what time are you all planning to do lunch? I'm not going to be there for 11am, prolly closer to 12.

Will the pub cater for the huge deluge of PHers? If not, it's not the end of the world, there being quite a few good eateries on the A30. (Red, which was Il Gladiatore, being one of them, as I discovered last week.)

See you all there...

Gutted... I'll be there but not with the Chimaera. I have been rather unlucky last week on the A1... had to drive over some sh1te which must have fallen of the back of a truck, result: sump (sp?) and exhaust openened like a mmiserable tin ! No damage to the engine as I stopped immediately. Anyway, the car is now waiting for some spares parts at the Garage in Compton
So we'll have to take the Smart - which seems last week has a dented front wing. Arrrrgh ! 10 years of driving without a problem and 2 cars going wrong to 2 days.... I'm sure that's because last Sunday was my 30th birthday
Anyway, see you all there...
