New Engine- high rev
Discussion
It'll be fine. Unless you over-rev an engine by shifting into a low gear at high road speed, the rev limiter on any modern engine will protect against damage from throttle-only high rev situations.
Manufacturers test engines by sitting them at high revs for many hours at a time - a quick blip up to the redline is nothing.

For someone so worried about damaging their engine you do seem rather careless in not sticking to rev limits.
