Delivered yesterday...

Only been out for a short spin in it, but quick observations are:

- it has a lot of travel on the brake pedal before anything happens and the pedals are very offset, hitting the gas a couple of times by mistake
- you can't put it in Park without turning the engine off! So Italian!!!

Otherwise it's damn well as good as you could want of a supercar / GT / ... it's absolutely beautiful to look at, and is so planted and assured on the road. Gear change is very smooth and quick, suspension helps it to glide over shonky roads, it has plenty of headroom (comparing to my Huracan which is 'compromised' if I'm polite). And boy does it turn heads!!!

Even after a short drive, it's definitely grabbed me as something I want to spend a lot more time with!
The park thing is annoying, especially when you have to jump out to get an entry ticket in Euro carparks!
You can do it without switching off though. Pull both paddles together to get neutral, then pull up (or push down, can't remember..), the parking brake button, which to the right below the steering wheel. That puts it into P on the drive selector

The rear view mirror also freaked me out on first drive, which was 7hrs, and I had to turn it off, but then after a couple more drives your head/eyes get used to it, and it's not an issue. It does make things look a lot closer though.

Looking good! beer

Great advice regarding the Park! Much appreciated!

re. mirror - I had a brief look yesterrday and thought 'that's freakin' weird' and went back to normal / next to no view. I think the wing mirrors will suffice.

Exactly what I did on first trip, but you do actually get used to it after one or two goes.
And without it you get some weird reflections, especially in the dark.

I really really like these, have been toying with an idea of either a F car or one of these. Worst case would be another 720s but I do want something Italian.

But, a bit scared as I see they are already in the 170k mark. Last month I didn’t see one sub 189k. Will these stabilise in value soon?

Its still not too bad if these 2021 cars were specced to £200-220k. Still holding on pretty well

24 cars for sale out of a pool of less than 100 in the UK, so prices have softened. A number of the cars for sale are people moving into the Cielo. I don't think they will drop much more and they look really good value now - you can get a car with a few thousand miles for £50k below list.

Well... sadly my Cielo has been with the dealer for a few weeks now. Mechanically all great, but can you believe the (upgraded) stereo broke?! Dodgy speakers or amplifiers and unfortunately usual protraction from the factory when it comes to providing parts. Of course, it's drivable but not where it should be and I fear that if I take it back, it'll slide further down the pecking order.

I recall posts when the first MC20's came out, with the factory being active in fixing anything cropping up, in order to ensure the historic reputation doesn't perpetuate. But, this stupid niggle is really becoming frustrating! They sure know how to take the shine off a new car...

I am getting delivery of this bad boy next week- 170 against a new purchase price of 260 and it’s done 1000 miles with all the options - I don’t expect to ever make money on my toys but still a bargain!!

That's why it's a bad boy.

Just had a browse on Autotrader and there's a black one at HR Owen Hatfield for £150k!

Doesn't have much/any carbon but still, that is an incredible price & depreciation for what is essentially a brand new car!

There’s a brand new convertible on collecting cars. Interesting to see how much it goes for.

A rather shockingly low £187.5k.
