Morning everyone, thinking of doing a slight modification and using the fog lights or spot lights as day running lights. I did a quick search in the fuse box with my multi meter for an ignition switched live but could not find one.

Does anyone know where I can find said feed in the under bonnet area please.

Many Thanks

i would think it’s quicker and easier to put a switch in , i tried searching the wires around the ignition to put another light on the car and gave up in the end , i maybe wrong but wiring appears to be i think they call it cams ? so it uses signal wires rather than a supply to turn things on and off , but i maybe wrong

I am no expert with electronics but I think if you hack into your cars wiring and fit DRL's you may very well end up with more trouble codes than you can shake a stick at.
I have fitted a few LED's to my Monaro and the bulbs were canbus compliant so no error codes at all. Anything more than that and you had better know what you are doing.

Or just turn your headlights on ?

There's a switch near the steering wheel, and no need to wire anything.

Yep, replace your standard sidelights with good quality LED builds and just switch them on for the DLR effect......job donesmile
I got my builds from auto bulbs direct, they are a very good company to deal with and don't sell cheap rubbish.
