See this before.

However, the interesting thing is - and assuming the same wheel size configuration, what tyres were installed on that Zag? It was obviously been given some beans, it was cold and sticking to the track like the verberbial to a wet blanket.

Hadn't seen that - very good video, evocative and showed the car off well.

Bespoke costs money people, and that's what the Zag is - value for money is not an issue. The fact is makes no more power than a Vantage is irrelevant, it's fast enough for most collectors, and for those that want it quicker, you can always stick a 6.7 or 7 litre engine in it from BR.

Or simply the manifolds and cats if you want it to be a reversible change.

I like it. It may have just made the wish-list...

In California Sage naturally.

To do that to a limited edition would be sacrilege! Do it to the mass produced versions, but not a limited edition!

Also, why do they always stick some ste music in those videos ranting

I would be quite happy to give an N400 to BR

Meh. It's not like sticking a Rover V8 in a DB4 Zagato is it smile It's an enhancement, a properly built enhancement to make the car one of the fastest in the world, performance to go with the looks and status. I would have no hesitation, unless of course I had bought it as an investment - I do agree that anyone buying one for a collection would leave it as standard but a >driver< would want the changes.

Tell me the DB4 Zagatos don't have every improvement that can be made bending the rules for competition. Uprated EVERYTHING over how they left the factory.

But putting on the cats and manifolds for the V12 onto a Zag makes sense in every way.

I don't think all drivers would want the changes, it's cringeworthy to think of modifying a limited edition. Only 150 will be made and you would want to butcher one?!

Mine would just sit in the garage next to many other Astons and wouldn't ever be driven, so it would be 100% standard smile
