Not sure if these pictures have been posted on here before but you can see from the first spy shot that the front 'potentially' has a shark nose slant to it. Also found some renders that someone has made using the test mule as a best guess as to how it might look. I really hope it doesn't look like this, not enough beauty or drama about it.
The vantage has always been the prettiest Aston to my eyes, perfect proportions and even after all these years it still looks as beautiful as it did the first time I saw the concept way back in 2003. I've missed my 07 Vantage ever since selling it and have been waiting to see if Aston can take everything I love about the current Vantage and give it a new generation look and feel that pulls at the heart strings again and makes me think about returning to the brand. I can even look past a turbo merc engine if the car is stunning to look
That looks pretty good. Think the rear needs a bit more work as it reminds me more of a Renault Laguna coupe than anything Aston, but good to see they haven't carried over the awful side strake into the wheel arch from the DB11The vantage has always been the prettiest Aston to my eyes, perfect proportions and even after all these years it still looks as beautiful as it did the first time I saw the concept way back in 2003. Just throwing this out there, but has anyone heard any reliable rumours (if such a thing exists) as to whether the new Vantage will be a single or double clutch jobby ?
If it's going to an auto, I'd like to think they do go down the dual-clutch road, as lets be honest when really pushing on PDK's etc can be good fun.
One thing's for certain though, love it or hate it the SS automated-manual will be confined to the history books.

Never been keen on those slitty headlights or shark nose slant,as sampled on the DB10.
To me it appears "feminised" ,which is probably why George likes it.
I like my Astons to look "butch" which is why I'm such a fan of the One77.
If I was offered a choice I'd go for the look of the current V12 Vantage.

From a previous thread (or may be even early on this one), from someone who's seen it, the Autocar renders are some way off reality; ultimately we won't know definitively until launch (Frankfurt in September?). If the DB11 is anything to go by it definitely won't look like the current Vantage.Never been keen on those slitty headlights or shark nose slant,as sampled on the DB10.

Your in luck......18 different shades of grey......6 different hues of black....
Apparently for the 2nd generation model in 2025 they're thinking of bringing in a very slightly brighter colour called " Slightly Brighter Grey ".
I'm sure Q will do you a nice green/red/orange for £12k extraApparently for the 2nd generation model in 2025 they're thinking of bringing in a very slightly brighter colour called " Slightly Brighter Grey ".

Has anyone heard any naming rumours ?
Surely they're going to do something other than call it the "New" Vantage ?

Obviously they could change the name, but the present model has become so well known, both as a road car and a winning racing car, and also it is the highest production AML model, so I can see the value in continuing with the same name on this particular occasion.
Various manufacturers often continue the same model name of course, which are then referred to by the nickname, Mk1, Mk2 etc.
We shall see.
( Sorry avinalarf, this is my serious side today. )
