I went for a blast from London to Dartmouth and back in my new V8 Vantage. Here's my video review of living with an aston every day: https://youtu.be/Qu3kVv1iI7Q
Great video. Everything you love about your V8 Vantage is everything I love about my DB11 V8. They truly are magnificent and beautiful.

Decided to check the exhaust valves were operating correctly as I couldn't tell any difference between Fuse 22 in or out. Made sure mine is Fuse 22 (yep MY10 car so it should be). Had a good look under the back box. Er, can't find valves at all, let alone checking whether they are operating correctly or not. No, they are definitely not fitted to the exhaust. Where the **** are the valv......oh hang on. That's not a standard back box. It has a Quicksilver back box fitted that was not mentioned when I bought the car. Well that's a result!

Fitted new Michellin MP4SS's to the car, transformed the squirrelly handling (bye bye Pirellis).

Went to the seaside to celebrate.

That wonkee V12 badge would drive me insane. It actually reads VeVantage from that angle.

That aside the car looks cracking.

Well thanks for pointing it out ;-)

To be fair I blame the PPF guys not Aston themselves. If I can be bothered I will have it straightened, I don’t often see the back of it!

I seem to remember a thread about a ‘rare’ Ve Vantage a while back which turned out to be a v12 badge.

Ooh. I did exactly the same today. Bought them off eBay. Mine needed some filing to get them to fit but at least they shouldn't fall out!

Dropped the Volcano Red V8VS off at AM Bristol. Permanently.

Regretting it already.

Started drooling over the (sold) Volcano Red GT12 they had there.

Some things never change wink

Yours look very neat and more flush than teh eBay ones - fancy knocking out another set? This has bugged me for over 6 years - and why does the driver side nut always seems to rust!?
