Hi Andy, your very welcome to join the NE group for the run out, but unfortunately I've been told we can't add anymore numbers to the lunch at the FL.

But if anyone pulls out I will let you know asap.

soofsayer is in charge of the whatsapp group so send him a message.

Hi Paul
I can help a little with the numbers by now not being able to make the meal. It is the first football friendly match for the little one my wife has informed me.
I will be coming for the drive and will have a drink before shooting off. Thanks Darren

Hi all
I’ve some news that may be of interest to you.

One of the northern contingent will be Paul Thursby, who some of you will know, is the Dealer Principle for AM Newcastle.

Paul has arranged to bring a DBX and the new Vantage Roadster.

His guest, driving the roadster will be Rob Gray who is one of the Aston Martin Performance Drivers. Hopefully he will be willing to give us a short talk after lunch on his work.

Hope this ok.
Thanks
James
Nice!
I've not seen Paul since we borrowed a DB5 from him for a pals wedding smile

Is the limit on diners at the Fat Lamb due to kitchen capacity or social distancing requirements in the restaurant area?

Those from the south coming to Bowcliffe Hall just a couple of things:

Petrol. Please fill up before you get to the Hall (if you are continuing with us after breakfast). If you are coming up the A1M link from the M1 there is a new services a few miles south of Bowcliffe Hall, on the A1 there are various services before you get to the A1M. Alternatively there is a Shell station in Wetherby which is a couple of miles further north from the Hall.

Directions. Coming from the south on the A1 take the exit signed A64 Leeds/York. Keep left and you will arrive at a roundabout. The 4th exit off the roundabout signed to Bramham is the one to take. Follow that road for a couple of minutes until you reach the traffic lights. Turn left, along the road and over the bridge, go through the gates in front of you and you will see the Hall to the right. We will be parking up outside the hall. Note, the road leading up to and over the bridge had quite a few pot holes when I went over there recently so take care.

I will bring 4 radios to use for car-to-car comms for the day.

After lunch at the FL I plan to drive up on to the moors and drop down towards Barnard Castle for the return leg. Anyone wanting to join in is welcome, we may split at the A1 for those wanting to get back down south in reasonable time with any remainers doing a cross country route back towards the York area. Something to discuss on the day!

Any questions please ask. Very much looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday.

The Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle may be a suitable end point. Last time they let us take some pictures. We may even spot Dominic Cummings

Hi Andy, thanks for organising the day, much appreciated, can't wait for Sunday, the weather seems ok at the moment, shouldn't be raining.

I should be at Bowcliffe around 08.00 - 08.15 see you then.
