DB9 - ADS premium
Discussion
Evening All. I'm in the market for a DB9V and have been lurking on this forum for most of last year, as well as reading Grant's book numerous times. I was hoping to pick your brains on a fairly specific topic - namely what you'd feel a suitable premium would be for a facelift DB9.1 Volante with adaptive damping (MY11 cars onwards).
Cars with ADS clearly appeal (although I take the point that theoretically there's more to go wrong than with a non-ADS Bilstein equipped car), but how much would you say this is worth?
Would you take a MY11 car with ADS over a MY10 car without - say at £5k more? Clearly the car would be younger - but is ADS worth that sort of extra sum?
I'm also bearing in mind that ADS could be retrofitted as a future upgrade.
Thanks all, really appreciate any suggestions and viewpoints.
Cheers
