Looks like a 2023 Vantage V12 with a different front splitter and larger rear wing.

Here's one for sale...

I’m not really sure what it is but to my eyes it looks like a slightly modified version of previous generation V12 Vantage. However it seems to have a lot in common with it. Same headlights, same grille, same wing mirrors, and same side skirts. Seems a bit too soon to be launching a V12 version of current new new Vantage as new new Vantage Roadster was only recently unveiled, but who knows nowadays…..surely they can’t tap up customers for yet another “final” V12, but based on the older car?!
confused

Back on topic. Just had a quick search on AT and there are fifteen cars for sale. Price range is £163,000 to £203,000. One of the cars I know has been traded in by a well known multiple AM owner against another brand new new new Vantage albeit in a different colour. The others…well I can’t believe fourteen other customers have taken delivery and then decided it’s not for them. I would assume they must mainly be dealer demonstrators, but it does beg the usual question…how many extra unregistered cars are sitting unsold at UK AM MDs? Q1 2025 Results are due for release on 30th April. Here’s hoping for some better news. Fingers crossed. BRM.

Yes, I noticed this as well…..

The official Aston Martin ‘pre-Owned’ website is showing 8 2024 Vantages, starting at £163K. I’m sure if you offered £10K less they wouldn’t throw you out of the showroom!

Sevenoaks have at least 3 unregistered ‘new new’ Vantages (Concours Blue, Xenon Grey & Podium Green) available for immediate registration. Would have thought avoiding Labour’s doubled first year VED ‘showroom tax’ (£2,745 to £5,490) from 1st April 2025 would have been an incentive, especially if accompanied by a discount?

Strange episode where Tony (Anthony Dennard from Gravelwood cars) says he’s changed his usual ‘anti-Aston’ stance (after enjoying driving a DB12 last year) and is currently considering buying a used ‘new new Vantage’ to use to lead driving tours with the new Touring company that he & Sam Fane have set up ( https://www.ontheroad.tours/). Sam predicts that Tony won’t buy it (too expensive) and should get a Ferrari Roma instead.

If you remember, Sam’s review of ‘new new Vantage’ was lukewarm at best.

The first video was posted yesterday in the “Aston Martin Enthusiasts - Miscellaneous” thread. My advice to anyone who hasn’t seen it is don’t bother wasting fifty one minutes of your life watching it as it is absolutely dreadful! smile

I went to the Vanquish preview yesterday and there’s a nice Batman spec at Aston Martin Sydney. The bronze wheels look very good and the stitching is colour keyed to the bronze wheels. I’m not usually a black on black fan but this looked quite striking.

AUD $570k or GBP 290k drive away nothing more to pay.

(Oh yes, agreed, that mincing Sam guy is absolutely painful).

Have to say the black/bronze combination looks superb and suits the car very well. Big money though. I think there are additional taxes in Australia compared to the UK but that example must have had a lot of expensive options ticked too. BRM.

Such a shame that Aston no longer fit a strap at the top of the side of the seat to quickly pull to tilt the backrest forward (to access the storage shelf or reveal the panel covering one of the larger fuse boards and the battery. All has to be done manually with the electric motors now. I imagine this will make it difficult to replace a dead battery (as seat can’t be moved forward to access the battery/fuse panel).

Cycled past HWM Aston Martin this morning. There must have been 10 new Vantages parked outside. Their forecourt was packed !

Well the GBP price you quote is pretty cheap as a similar car here is £400k….

I may have misunderstood but I think the £290,000 Davil quoted was for the black new new Vantage in the picture not new Vanquish? BRM.

My question is, if dealerships are drowning with large excess stock of new new Vantages, why are new factory orders being informed of an 8 month delivery wait?

Surely if the factory is ‘twiddling its thumbs’ (due to perceived low demand), delivery times of new factory orders would be significantly shorter?

Backlogs due to JIT component supply issues? Just a guess.

My apologies - my first take was a Vanquish

In terms of ordering etc, was told recently that AM do not keep stock of most parts used in build process and its to do with ordering new components from their suppliers

When I crashed off my Vantage last year, one repairer said if AM were going to supply a new dash it would min be 3 months

Yes we have lots of taxes and yes, a lot of options ticked. e.g. the stereo was an extra $18k or so (~9k GBP).

Oh yes, sorry, this was the Vantage. Vanquish I put in the other thread. Goodness what the Vanquish will cost.

I had my car in for service and I was genuinely shocked how big the new vantage is , the db12 was a bit longer but the bonnet and width were very similar size ,not sure I’d like to hustle that down a small road .
