Lovely! The roadster equivalent of Ronny’s! For me, it was the test drive that convinced me to trade in my 2019 Vantage for the ‘new new’ Vantage. (I believe I posted my findings further up on this thread, however can do so again if anyone interested). The new car just felt ‘right’, better built and far ‘less fragile’ than the previous version.

Agree that the Vantage looks great in Malachite/Podium and that green Astons have surged in popularity (driven in part by Aston’s F1 livery?), however believe we still need to see these lovely cars in a wide variety of colours so that no one single colour becomes ‘over-used’ or clichéd. At least with greys/silvers, there is a wide gamut of shades and with varying size of metal-flake in the paints, some very unique effects are produced.

Fully understand, and I also sometimes struggle with some of these YouTubers (I actually block Shmee & Mr JWW because of their lack of authenticity & ‘smarminess’), however I’m living vicariously through this content until my own ‘new new’ Vantage arrives in September!

Absolutely beautiful Vantage,great colour.

Hahaha! I totally get it. I do this whenever I am waiting for a new car. That’s how I got the dislike for mincing Sam and that chav guy. biglaugh

I think seeing one in alloro, stirling green or one of the silvery greens used on the old zagato models would be spectacular

Congrats, beautiful car, you nailed the spec. I like the headliner, works well. And the new presentation box, with room for the keys and manual is a nice touch from Aston. How have you found the tech, software updates? Running smoothly or any problems?

New Tech is a little laggy 1 second delay due user inputs on the center screen. But all in all a big improvement. Next SW updates will fix it and improve the experience told by my dealer.

Did some smaller tweaks too. Rip of the big plastic licence plate adapter.

Also change the cheap umbrella Velcro fastener. Its a shame for the pricetag of the Vantage.

As you say, certainly a lot better than the standard Velcro straps - simply not good enough for £300!

Q division will now offer that umbrella strap holder... for an extra $500!

Do you mean the F1 link that people on here think has zero benefit to sales? wink

If you look closely at my spec you will see it’s gentleman’s F1 spec. Replaced lime essence livery with subtle bronze. Actually the polo shirts, jackets etc all have a bronze/white/black trim that looks superb.

Your spec looks superb. I’ve always loved that colour.

hehe thanks, great idea and hopefully they pin the Q Badge on the straps too for this amount of money.

Thank you Davil! Looking forward to seeing it when it arrives. Maybe now there are fewer cars going to the US (following DT’s tariff announcement yesterday), I’ll see it sooner? hehe

Ronny, interested where you obtained those leather umbrella straps and also if you’ve found a protective leather case/pouch to protect the expensive metal car key/fobs?

Thanks.

Yes got the original Aston Martin leather key protectors as gift from my salesman.

But I don't like them, they cover the whole Fobs.

As birthday gift my Xpel PPF buddy will wrap my keys together with all piano black cockpit parts together. As soon we found a time window.

We did the same XPel PPF job on our Volvo Fobs too.

The trunk leather stripes came from amazon. LINK

Huge thanks Ronny!

I haven’t seen the Aston Martin leather key protectors as the AM Store link on AML’s website only takes you to the F1 merch store or another page with luggage sets, golf clubs, tyre cushions and car covers.

Will be following your lead in getting a quote to carbon fibre-effect PPF the piano black bits in the cabin.
