Damn, the first five minutes of that video are a better ad for the car than all the PR puffery cack from AM. I think "show, don't tell" is the phrase. Many thanks to Minglar for pointing me at the right thread!
Really love the new vanquish from the front, but at first glance from side/rear of the rear from the cabin back it feels quite reminiscent of a Mustang to me!
Definite kudos to both Aston and Ferrari for keeping the V12 alive. I'd still personally rather an NA than blown engine but bravo to both. Looks wise the Ferrari is a bit more personally challenging to me at the front since I never particularly liked the Daytona front and I think the Aston looks nicer overall

The hood (bonnet) not going to the end and having that line across it, not a fan.
Models without that panel gap do look smart, but historically, it has been a fairly common for Aston Martins to have visible front bonnet gap lines.
Was the DB9, the first Aston Martin without the line?

Thank you V8LM.
They can do it when they try.
Do the DB2 and DB Mk III have a one piece bonnet and front wings?
If so, a very neat look, but drawbacks of cost and complications in the event of damage.
I seem to remember that one of the recent models had a one piece front, but then that went out of favour for the successor model.

Got an invite for a UK road test in the Vanquish in a couple of weeks ooop North. Bring to on!
I hope it's good. There's a place in the market for an exciting, comfortable and practical GT car imo.Roma is getting heaps of praise but it's not quite doing it for me unfortunately.

Same here. V8 Ferrari's have to be mid engined for me. Can't beat a V12 in a car with the engine at the front. Roma is getting heaps of praise but it's not quite doing it for me unfortunately.

Well, not sure I’d call it interesting. I haven’t learnt much and the reviewer is just cruising along stating facts. Not very interesting review I’d say.
Agree. Hardly the best piece of automotive journalism. If you're not going to do any fancy drone visual shots at least try and convey something interesting about the experience of driving or a take we haven't heard before or can't read from the stats. AlexNJ89 said:

I don't know why they do this. Upload a video weeks later and give no new information.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
