Almost identical to mine bar the carbon splitter. Are the wheels still diamond cut or have you had them powder coated, difficult to tell from the photo. If the latter I'd be interested to know what colour.

I have had the car for 10 years now and the wheels are still as original and not yet been refubished. There is a small amount of white worm appearing on one of the wheels, which is going to cause a bit of a dilemma going forward.

Yes, it is THE (one and only) Project Vantage. I had read the whole story in VANTAGE two years ago - fascinating read! And what a nice idea to recreate the original 1998(?) photo shoot with Bob Dover and Ian Callum. You must be very proud, Ggeo1uk, to own this very special Aston Martin! As I am getting old I cannot remember who had been the third guy in the 1998 photo standing in your position (Ian Minards or ....??).

My 2009 V8 Vantage. This was my Aston Martin dream come true. I’ve had it from new, and I love it as much today as the day I took delivery.

So brutally timeless. And no, it doesn't need coloured brake calipers, newer wheels or N400 sills.

Oh, the melancholy of an early DB9! They look so serious.

I love the purity of the original design but was eventually seduced by the dyanmic improvements brought about by almost 10 years' worth of further development and replaced it with this:

Arguably not quite as pretty but a lot more capable!

This has been, and no doubt will continue to be, much discussed and debated. So... For me, all Vantages are gorgeous, but the original is the most gorgeous. It was perfect from the beginning, like the DB4, E-type Series 1, XK120. That's why I love my '09 -- original design, 4.7 engine and the original Sports Pack split-5 spoke wheels. But all of them really are stunning.

Frontpage-worthy. I especially like the lavender-like background in harmony with the blue car.
