A camouflaged test mule last week near Twycross. I only saw it briefly as it passed me coming the other way, so no photo. It didn't look like a Vantage to me (too large, wrong nose), it was a coupe, not convertible, what other upcoming model could it be?

Mrs Minglar and I saw Casino Royale at the same venue with the orchestra a couple of years ago too. Brilliant atmosphere and imho, to date, it was Daniel Craigs best outing as 007. Don’t remember seeing a DBS parked outside though! That DB5 looks superb though.

As you say, very sad. I hope the car's not too badly damaged.
My previous BMW 5 Series was written off when I drove through what I thought was a shallow flood in the road and water got into the engine & gearbox. Probably more vulnerable because it was an M series with the deep front intake.

Pretty sure it was an Aston that had aquaplaned (I assume) off the southbound A34 just before the A303 junction in the heavy rain on Sat morning (2nd Nov).

Hopefully the damage was not too excessive.
