Gorgeous car.

You go for weeks without seeing an Aston in the wild, and then you see five within 30 minutes in Alderly Edge (where else) yesterday afternoon. A white Vanquish S, a black DB9 Volante, a black DB9 coupe, a silver DB11 volante and a silver new Vantage. All rather gorgeous

Spotted my first DBX on the road today, outskirts of Swindon.

Saw that DBX remarkably soon after launch compared to the new Vantage, of which I have still only seen five, one of which later turned out to be a factory owned car.

Without being a Aston Martin enthusiast, I dont think I would have even noticed the DBX though.
Rear mirror view first, I recognised the two rectangular running lights. Could not see any Aston grille. Do some have black grilles?
Colour either black or dark grey, so it did not stand out well at all, especially as it was being followed by a black Hyundai SUV, which amongst the traffic, looked almost the same. A brighter colour choice and a bright finish grille appear to be important, if one is to avoid a £180,000 DBX being confused with a £40,000 Hyundai.

The DBX passed me while I was reducing speed, trying to obey a road works 40mph limit.
Short reg. I think ending ILL.
Oh and the owner might want to visit his dealer, the indicators have failed.

What struck me was, presumably people spend £180,000 on a vehicle, partly to impress others.
In the instance which I described, the DBX was hardly noticeable. It certainly did not stand out at all, from the following far cheaper SUV.

I asked my wife the following day if she noticed the DBX overtaking us. Her answer was, "I did not see it."
The moral seems to be, don't buy a black or grey DBX.

If that was between 3-4pm that was me in the db9 - onyx black with my mate in his new black vantage, or not?. So you’re local too, I’m a couple of miles from there.

Yeah, must have been you. Hard to tell about the colour. Can't be many pairings like that going through that village. Looked and sounded epic. The new shape vantage was very shiny.

White DB11 BF17RXX on A3M travelling North from Portsmouth today around 15:50.

Driving fairly sedately... Was sat behind it for around 12 miles before turning off.

Lovely looking car, white with black A and C pillars.

A beautiful pair of red vantages on the A1 northbound. One old and one new. The old on hit a bird and pulled off on the Ripon junction. Hope everything was ok with the front.

Lovely old blue DB6 around Hindhead and later on the A3 Guildford/London bound this afternoon. I was in in the orange DB11 ...."Oh and I suppose that is completely inconspicuous"

Just seen a DBX on Sky News in Florida. Unfortunately, being driven by one of the Glazer family who owns Man Utd.

Why is this unfortunate, and for whom ? The Glazer or Aston Martin ?
