Spotted my first DBX on the road today, outskirts of Swindon.
Saw that DBX remarkably soon after launch compared to the new Vantage, of which I have still only seen five, one of which later turned out to be a factory owned car.
Without being a Aston Martin enthusiast, I dont think I would have even noticed the DBX though.
Rear mirror view first, I recognised the two rectangular running lights. Could not see any Aston grille. Do some have black grilles?
Colour either black or dark grey, so it did not stand out well at all, especially as it was being followed by a black Hyundai SUV, which amongst the traffic, looked almost the same. A brighter colour choice and a bright finish grille appear to be important, if one is to avoid a £180,000 DBX being confused with a £40,000 Hyundai.
The DBX passed me while I was reducing speed, trying to obey a road works 40mph limit.
Short reg. I think ending ILL.
Oh and the owner might want to visit his dealer, the indicators have failed.

What struck me was, presumably people spend £180,000 on a vehicle, partly to impress others.
In the instance which I described, the DBX was hardly noticeable. It certainly did not stand out at all, from the following far cheaper SUV.
I asked my wife the following day if she noticed the DBX overtaking us. Her answer was, "I did not see it."
The moral seems to be, don't buy a black or grey DBX.
