Any zc32 Suzuki swift sport users?

Hey guys,
Looking at finally getting a run around and I have to say, the Suzuki swift sport zc32s is right up there with the best of them
I'm after some user feedback on things to check out before buying, any service intervals/common problems but I know they are pretty bullet proof!
Are there any part which can do with refreshing (suspension/bushes/mounts/) currently looking at at 2014 with 60k so getting to the point where perishing becomes an issue.

I honestly know of no problems, has it got the nav on the one your looking at ?
It’s a garmin system and lovely and simple to use, you’ll want to update maps can be done via a SD card.
I’d guess bush etc like anything else are a possibility but 60k not that high really. They want a service every 9k according to suzuki, I’m sure loads don’t bother but I don’t like missing a oil change.
Be careful you don’t turn the front dogs on cleaning the dash as it’s a light Nr your knee not on the dash, I’ve left on before due to this.

Engines are bulletproof. Suzuki make motorcycle engines - including the famous 'busa'. They certainly know what they are doing when it comes to engines. I have no concerns for either engines in our cars.
Bushes... shouldn't worry too much. These are lightweight cars - so they are not hard on their bushes anyway. Everything lasts longer on a lightweight car. Brakes, tyres, etc.

maybe the longest is about an hour on my trips!

Mines my main car stedaly. Fine on motorways. Usually stick mine on cruise at 80 and sit. Not terrible on noise, never given me a bad back etc. I drove from Yorkshire to Edinburgh in it few months back.how are they motorway wise? I dont do many long motorway runs but I dont want to be wishing for more torque
maybe the longest is about an hour on my trips!also looking at

Only thing you could really pull it on is fuel consumption. Think I get average of 35 but I rev it and chuck it about a lot if I’m honest. Boots small but does me fine.
Flip side to the fuel is how much they are for what you get and the kit you get. Plus mechanically old school so cheap to work on.
They are nothing like a 130 for performance obviously, However i’ve not found myself missing any of my faster previous cars

Thanks man, exactly what I needed to hear! yer they are a bargain and ive seen a few 2014/2015 dropping below 5k now so its right in the ball park!

I have a ZC32s and previously an EP3. The Suzuki is taller geared and more relaxed on motorways, and fuel economy is quite a bit better; typically 40-45mpg on a decent run depending on the speeds sustained compared to 30-35mpg for the Honda. Obviously performance of the EP3 is in a different league, and I do miss it sometimes.how are they motorway wise? I dont do many long motorway runs but I dont want to be wishing for more torque

Great little cars! We had one and took it up to around 100,000 miles. Only ever needed consumables. The wife found it a bit tiring on the motorway (~300mile was too far in one hit, 200mile was the limit without a break apparently).
Few days after we got it I borrowed it to go to work, took the afternoon off and did a trackday at Brands Hatch. Melted the ditch finder tyres the previous owner had fitted, had brilliant fun and it held its own against cars with 80-100hp more. Would have done even better if the tyres were half way decent.
I'd recommend them to anyone.

Tbh Im seeing 22-28mpg in my current car so either would be better! but im leaning towards the swift as the prices are crashing atm, leaves me some pennies to update a few bushes/ springs etc as well as the cheaper tax/insurance/running costs and a lot newer car to! I really miss cruise control on the motorway, but I rarely do more than 1 or 2 hour trips, ill have to sort a test drive!

does the power/torque on the motorway not cause issue?

a map sounds like a good start, even <5% with better throttle response would be good.
I currently own a ZC31S and I couldn't say anything bad about it. That is from a 19 Year old that isn't so much concerned about comfort etc though. Did a journey from Yorkshire to Edinburgh also last year and it didn't skip a beat. Brilliant little car.
From what I've heard the ZC32S is everything the ZC31S and more! Has Cruise Control a 6th gear and a better radio / NAV. Apparently has more sound deadening also. Do an hour and a half journey in mine every week and sit comfy the whole way. Shows around 40MPG on the motorway then down some NSL roads into york.
And when you want to have some fun you can drop a gear and let revs build. Not the quickest car but it does grip up good in the corners!

Any comments on how fast these are in terms of straightline pace? Anyone driving one had a run in with another car to gauge how quick the Swift is?
Low torque motors can feel a bit slow as they don't have any sort of torque swell low down but they're actually decently quick in the real world most of the time.

On paper not amazing, my mate followed me in his old clk 3.2 v6 petrol auto, I know not a rocket ship but was pleasantly surprised by the swift and I followed my other pal in his 3.0 v6 TDI vw Touareg and I held its own.
