I’ve had one for 6 months now, After my SL500 was written off by a drunk driver.

It’s a great little thing I love Suzuki for their reliability and analogue ness

However I did want to put 15” tyres on it rather than the 17” but I don’t know where to start

Apparently at the ring they used them with lowered suspension and 15”

check the manifold heat shield first silly as it sounds

Quite possibly one of the exhaust heat shields, mine had dropped on the rear and was resting on top of the exhaust back box. It made an intermittent rattle that was very annoying and you could see it was loose and wiggle it with your finger. There's oversize washers you can get to clip them back into place which my local garage sorted on mine.
Thanks for the tip, but thats not it. Checked today and heat shield is fine. This is not a rattle, its more like quick metalic pop or snap-like sound. Like if a small stone chip hit something down there.

Yep im on 205/50/15 tyres on mine. It's fine but if its not lowered looks like a off road vehicle.

I run 195/45/15 road tyres driving to and from track now

I went 15’s, but I think if I did it again I’d probably go for lightweight forged Japanese 16’s, as there’s more of a tyre selection in that size.

As mine is a ex Rent 4 Ring rental it came on the 15" cosmis rims and I bought another set for road tyres. 5x114.3 15" wheels. Plenty of wheels out and about that fit.

So on the odd occasion, when starting the car up, neither cold or warm specifically, it will star and idle at high revs, for about 30 seconds or so.

Never often, maybe once every 3 weeks, and I am in the car a lot.

Slight rev increase by about 200/300 rpm at most.

Trying to drive off or move the car when its doing it - means it sounds like an old dear is riding the clutch.

Haven't dug into it fully yet, as I have been all over and not had the energy when I do have a spare moment.

Has anyone had similar, or could potentially point me in the right direction?

Ta!

I found mine did the same after I had the remap done by Reidy, but does it all the time when cold.

Appreciate the responses, put my mind at ease at least!

Update on the car, its been a work horse for mountain biking the last few weeks, both wheels off and the back dropped down! It is getting a little cumbersome however, so I'm in the market for some roof bars and bike holders. Does anyone have any suggestions of roof bars that fit? I had a little play with the part finder when I was near a Halfords and they pulled up a blank with nothing that fits, apparently. I was in a rush so didn't bother to enquire further.

MOT is April, from memory, and the current tyres were cheap MOT passers by the looks/state of them, some new rubber in March just before the big show, I saw someone had previously recommended F1 Assys in 205's, so I think I'm going to be going down this route!

Cant fault the little thing, in honesty, and I am surprised how many people - after giving me the dig about changing my career to cut peoples hair, have remarked how sporty and good looking it is!

I aren't one for tarting up, but I was on the lookout for some team dynamics to "stance" it out a little, but I've decided against that, so perhaps some 15mm spacers would be a thought! Anyone fitted any? Without looking I would assume CTC have them available!

Hope everyone is doing grand with theirs!

Hello all, I've had a ZC32S for a little over a year now, very much still in love with it. Started doing some bits here and there, one thing at a time. I'm looking at potentially changing the infotainment system on it, as much as the GPS is handy and it does the job with easy to find areas it is out dated, and also having a phone holder/little magnet on the vent is bothering my OCD a little.
My question is, going off the dimensions does anyone know any specific models that can slot in without much hassle and fiddling with trim stuff that also have Apple/Android Car Play functionality.
Thanks.

Its standard double din and anything worth having will come with a trim kit to make it look factory. Likewise with the plug in wiring and keeping the function of the steering wheel buttons.

Its very easy to get at. Lift the lid on the dash top storage area and grip the rim. Sharp yank toward you and its off. The original unit is held in by two screws which you can then easily access.

I went with a Xtrons but wouldn't really recommend it. I think you are best going for a Pioneer or Sony.

Simply explained, thank you! It's probably something I'm going to get around doing soon as it's one of the more convenience and comfort things I want to take care of so there's a little bit of priority in it.

Thank you for everyones input,

What 15" wheels are people fitting

I have seen anything from Landrover Freelander 1 wheels to Honda wheels, Does anyone have any photos whats best 6 or 6.5 width / 195 / 50 / 15 - 185 65 15 or 205

This is really for a softer ride and winter use and anti pot damage - winter tyre use.

Has anyone fitted rally or spot lights ?
