Hi all, just bought one, anyone else got one? They seem very thin on the ground, but then I like that. So far I think it's a fab car, real wolf in sheep's clothing...luxury with bite. I have had 3 BMW Z's, 2 Alfa's, Brera & GTV all very different but I am liking this. maybe it's as I get older (fab seats, very comfy!) haha.

Wow, never even knew there were any in the UK ! Very cool, like the red paint too. How do you find the auto box? Is it a JDM import or were they officially sold here?

Interestingly this is probably as close as we'll get to the new Z car, at least until that gets grey-imported.

You might get some more pics and start a thread over in Readers' Cars, it's very rare.

47 Q60’s according to a website I found that uses dvla data but how many like this. Story goes it was the uk head of Infiniti sales hence all the extra options. Then a specialist dealer bought and has kept it himself for 18 months. I was looking at f-types but the spec I wanted was out of my budget, this was in the showroom at the right price. So far all I’d read about ‘slow shifts’ and ‘steering by wire’, I haven’t noticed any issues but have only done a 100 miles in it!

Hi, I have a Black Q60RS, I bought it August 2019.
It had never been on my radar to buy until my b/f spotted one and said how good it looked.... The rest is history.
Previous car was a 2010 Astra VXR, so a huge difference in just about everything
I love it, and there's still bits on it I haven't used yet - Welcome to the very small club smile

Less than a week in and I am loving this car! The looks it gets! I am sure if Infiniti had pushed the brand more they wouldn’t need to have given up on sales in the UK. I don’t ever think I’ve seen a press, tv or any other ad for Infiniti. Immensely popular in the US and Canada.

I have a Q50S hybrid AWD and I think the dive by wire steering is fine but I always set on light/casual which may seem the "wrong" setting but the steering maintains the same weighting and is it is much easier to steer smoothly. It is not like the setting changes massively but the other settings are just heavier for no real benefit. I think my gearbox is much the same, 7 speed Mercedes sourced, but is sealed. It does have some irritations like if you drive quickly for a while and then slow down it still wants to keep in low gears. Also on occasion I have pulled out to overtake and nothing happens for what seems like ages and then it drops down the gears and suddenly takes off like a scolded cat. If overtaking you really should set the gears manually before pulling out but you can do that with the paddles alone. To my mind I really like the car but it did take some getting used to its foibles and in the hybrid the brakes although very powerful can be difficult to moderate. I would suggest you try out the light/casual setting.
