Hi guys: my 2006 350z failed the MOT because of emissions. The mechanic suspects are the catalytic converters. He also mentioned not being able to putting well up to temperature because the clutch was slipping badly (I was expecting its time might be coming)
.
He suggested having a specialist check it to understand what's going wrong: any suggestion about someone within easy reach of the Cheshire/Manchester area with good expertise on these issues?

Can you put an image of the emissions sheet on here?

Could we’ll be as simple as a duff o2 sensor.

My 2005 failed it`s first MOT under my ownership last year with the same issue.

It had a pair of HFCs fitted which despite being red hot missed the mark by miles.

A pair of used OE cats and it passed easily.

I suspect previous test passes were somewhat moody.

They sorted me out quickly and for a fair price, wondering how the other mechanic could not see A HOLE IN THE Y PIPE
