Time we had pictures of everyones Japanese wagons
Discussion
Still enjoying my V6 mr2 but having naughty thoughts of replacing it as a friend really wants to buy it. Some other Jap toys that i've always fancied are constantly catching my eye - DC2, ST185 GT4 or even a 205, Mk1 MR2...not sure what to do as I do love this car. Would just be nice to try something different, but then there's the risk I'll never find another one like it.

A few pics of my ST165 that I purchased around 8 months ago as a result of sitting inside one when I was a little nipper for so many years! The plan is to restore this car to its former glory and drive it over to the south of spain to surprise my dad with it as he doesn't know I have it. He can't keep the car but he's welcome to drive it
And a couple of pictures of what my dad had. I actually took these outside his house in 2006 when he moved back to spain, he didn't want to sell the car so he drove it all the way over there, where it lasted a few more years then it overheated and cost him too much to repair, so went to the scrappys, he owned it for about 15 years though.

Your photo isn't showing for me. I know you're right mate, so i'm very hesitant to sell it for that reason tbh. Need to have a serious think about it before this lockdown is over. Hope you're keeping well and look forward to joining you for a Kent run soon.Currently SORNed.

Yes, thanks. In that case you'll have to keep it until we're allowed out again. CDB1983 said:
Posted pictures of this before but this time I cleaned it first.. Meguire's generic polish, poorboys black hole and finished with fusso soft99
Looks alright for a 15 year old car that up until about 12 months ago was clocking up 2000 miles a week
Car looks a bit 'early 2000's Russian oligarch' but the photography and trees in the first image are fantastic.Looks alright for a 15 year old car that up until about 12 months ago was clocking up 2000 miles a week

Cheers, No special camera just a cheap oppo smartphone. Spent some weeks convincing my wife not to chop the trees back. By far my favourite plants in our whole garden. Not sure what they are though. CDB1983 said:
