I had a stupidly big grin on my face when I was driving round yesterday. I have been guilty of whizzing the engine up briefly, I couldn't help myself, and it really does absolutely stonk along!! The worst thing is you get it up to 100mph and it just wants to keep going faster & faster.

Also took it around a few wet roundabouts just to see how much it would take to unstick it. It had a stupidly high level of grip and it was so easy to coax it around on the absolute limit. The brakes are quite simply awesome and have loads of feedback as well.

All in all loving every moment of driving it.... time for some Elise whipping time!!

OK having just topped up the tank and, if my calculations are correct, I have just achieved 34 mpg! Good huh? Of course I didn't buy this car for economy, but I'm stunned it could do this cruising at 80-90 mph on the motorway.
