F31 330D to 340i ... has anyone made that swap?

I had a 330d xdrive touring and now have a 340i touring. There isn't that much difference to be honest. If anything I preferred the xdrive when pushing on - it just felt more balanced.
The engine and noise in the 340 is better though and it's a nicer power delivery. Not sure real world it's much faster.
