Problem with BMW E39 525D 2001 Automatic

Hello,

I'm Dani from Portugal.

I'm a bit desesperate with a problem.

I have made a big maintenance to my car, and changed all the basic stuff, filters, oil, fuel bomb etc etc .

But the car is not working good .

The problem is:

The car works fine, and when i acelerate it answer well and it go fast, but sometimes imagine im cruising and if i press the pedal at maximum the car make a smoke white or sometimes black. I suspect it is not burning well the diesel. Or the motor doesn't get enought fuel.

Other thing is sometimes in low rotation i ear some metal noise from the motor, i think an injector who don't have diesel to burn, but that happens in low rotation.


I have been in BMW and they put the car on the computer and don't have any errors, they measure the injectors level and they are good.

You need to get a code reader on the car and see what codes it brings up.
