M135i/128ti Lease deal

I asked Lynn at AC about me adding my plate and she said you just need to nominate them on your retention form and send them a copy and they can add it to the car before it’s delivered to me.

Then when your coming to the end of the lease just email them to remove it and they will raise the request with the dvla to put it back on retention in your name and then it’s done.

When I did this with VW they charged me £50 admin to remove but nothing to put it on so would expect the same from AC

I had a weird setup with this - they firstly quoted with a heated steering wheel then they took that out as an error. Then they emailed to stay they can't remove the red accents as it is too far gone or add the performance tyres.

Have they pre-ordered these on a premises that they will sell or are they just finding cancelled ones to palm off.

Do you know what happens when it's taken off?
eg you ask them to take it off which means you need to source the normal plates before it goes back or does it actually go back with your private plate and then they put it on retention for you?

Taken off before it goes back, the cars original plates should come with the car still so you just have to put them on when they collect.

You will want it to be off before they collect so you can be 100% sure you still have your personal reg.

I’ve started seeing a few Storm Bay 1 Series cars about now. I must admit, I thought this colour was only available on the ti and M135 but on checking the brochure the M Sport cars can have it as well. It looks good!

Had an e-mail from AC estimating delivery of my 128ti for end of August. I placed the order last week.

Feeling very excited as my current driver is an Aygo. Don't know how I will pass the time.

I've also had an e-mail with ETA at dealership of early August. To be honest, I'm happy to wait as my Giulia Veloce not due to go back till October so happy to prolong delivery though may send Alfa back a few weeks early if required.

I got mine cancelled but i was fortunate thats someone took it over so i never had to pay any cancellatiin fees

3 + £340 3yr 5k.


Perhaps someone could take it on, but I’m not 100% certain yet as to what I want to do. It’s a slight change to a few things at home which leads to this question.

I’m wondering what the “fees” would be. They’re coming back to me after the weekend but forewarned is forewarned etc

I could be interested in taking that off your hands - would be looking at 8K at least so depends what the extra mileage costs are. Currently speaking to them about a 128 ti but 135 would be my choice.

I seen a storm bay m135i with the M4 mirror caps. Tasty. Glad I picked that colour now.
