330d - adviceand information required

I am considering buying a 2005 - 2006 E46 330d coupe and was wondering if there was anything in particular to look for. Manual or automatic? which is better? Is it worth paying the extra for built in sat nav. TV etc or not?

Any owners out there who could share some views?

Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated.

why not search for "buying" and "330d" in our lovely forums and trawl through threads. There's loads of great things said about the E46 330d.

get one with regular servicing and at that age you shoudn't go far wrong. If you want a TV in it then buy one.

I have auto and I think it's best matched for the engine. If you want to do the gears, then get manual. Either way you can't mess this up.

Check the subframe properly - a common fault with the E46. Swirl flaps on the facelift 2 & 3l version are also sometimes a problem.
