I have a question.
Who pays £90k for a zero mile Ducati Superleggera? (there are two for sale about the same price)
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/bike-details/20231214...

Is that wishful thinking or actually achievable?
There was an RC30 up for sale a while back, 1 mile and £85k. It would've needed a total strip down and all the rubber parts replacing so a total waste of money IMHO.

If I had £95k burning a hole in my pocket I'd probably end up with 4 or 5 bikes instead of one that I'd be too scared to use/unable to insure.
Why would it need a total strip down, it is not 100 years old!
Just because a bike has sat unused does not mean the parts disintegrate.

Seals harden, rubber degrades, fluids go "off" eventually but yeah, a total strip down is maybe a tad excessive.

The person with £95k to buy this has the money to blow on it as an ornament rather than a bike AND the cash to buy a bunch of other as well.

Which bike, which master cylinder?

Pattern parts can be a mixed bag, but if yours doesn’t work the options are limited!

There are rebuild kits/parts available for the CB250RSA on davidsilverspares.co.uk, ebay and CMSL depending on what is wrong with yours e.g. seals have gone or the metal housing is broken. If it's the latter, then there's a new one on CMSL but it's £350, but I can imagine that unlikely to be an economically viable purchase or alternatively, there's a third party direct replacement for £37 on the davidsilverspared.co.uk.

Also, chances are that one from a CB250N Superdream will probably do the job and look very similar - however, I can't guarantee it.

It's mainly the plastic reservoir.

From what I can see you can buy just the OEM plastic reservoir and the individual seals etc from David Silver Spares or CMSL. However, once you've bought all the seals, lid, screws it's looking about £80-£90 plus delivery.

It all depends on how factory original you want to keep it. If you're not too bothered about an original Honda part go with the after market complete unit from David Silver Spares for £37. I can imagine it'll be decent quality and not some cheap Chinese knock off like on eBay.

There's also the possibility of using the plastic case and seals etc from the after market one on your original unit.

The part in question. Would I be correct to be concerned?

Are you actually having problems with the front brake? Is the master cylinder leaking anywhere?

It's looking a little white around where it threads in.
I'd sooner get it replaced before failure being brake related

There’s nothing really wrong with it by the looks of it, just a bit of ally corrosion on the body and banjo fittings, just ignore it, you could replace the crush washers and tidy up the joint with a bit of wet and dry but I’d just leave as is.

I'm not seeing much wrong with that Unless it's leaking somewhere we can't see in the photos?

If it ain't broke, don't break it...

The Bike Specialists in Sheffield have a Superleggera for "only" £83k and an RC30 (Bol D'Or edition - if that's actually a thing) for "just" £55k so it pays to shop around!

I think I'd have about a dozen for £95,000

How does one remove the neutral switch from a old honda 250, no obvious signs a socket will fit or visible screws etc.

I think the two flanks on the round part have metric size and can be turned with an open-end wrench.
Better check the explosive views on parts list before trying,
to make sure there is no other part holding the switch in position from the inside.
