He’s right there’s haters and nothing can be done about that, but maybe some can be more informed now!! The positive side is that he did mention us supporters that donated the money to get him the bike,it’s the MaxFam bike we all love how he wheelies and does the fly by’s!! We get to see him travel w her this summer also see him editing the video’s and chat w him on Twitch and show him our appreciation!! These clowns think it’s a video game. Just a matter of time until it’s a fatality.
It'll happen during the making of the Netflix documentary and the funeral will be live streamed?

I never like how MaxWrist ride bike...Simply, you cant learn anything from this videos.
On Youtube is many riders which is clever, ride very nice and you can learn something from this.

Examples:

Murtanio, young rider which is in maybe 3 years grow from rookie to racer. Hi start on little Ninja 300. On road hi have excellent lines, nice body position, look deep into corner etc...

Superbike racer
Rider from Cyprus I think. Rides in group with experienced riders always on the same road. Very fast, always in its own line, nice shifting, never in panic.

Dave Moss
Guru of suspension and tires on motorcycles...
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYmOGL8b_-UeV7U10...

Keith Code
Ex racer and now teacher. Probably most well known about Twist of the wrist books and DVDs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgOPZWNswvY
https://www.youtube.com/user/superbikeschool

Of Course, many many others. This is channels which is good to vies because you can learn something. MaxWrist is maniac.
Thanks for this - about an hour through Twist of the Wrist II - great stuff. Also made me miss Julian Ryder's Moto GP commentary.

Have been watching some bike stuff by a US guy called DanDanTheFireman on Youtube as well - good technique stuff and crash analysis (he's a firefighter/emergency medic as well) including of some of the antics of these Max-named jokers - worth checking out.

Here it is, it doesn't show the crash but it shows the aftermath.

I only look into this thread occasionally and am always expecting to read he's dead, for some reason! Only a matter of time.

He's upped his game. He's managed to crash on a straight, clear bit of road this time.

This is worth checking out I think - analysis as referred to above. Sobering stuff. Not Maxwrist himself but connected with him - he's the following bike I think.

That's what I was thinking. Given they know the other guy, presumably they were heading in the same direction.

Close pass shenanigans gone wrong?

From what I can ascertain, the other guy was trying to catch Maxwhatever, excessive closing speed, and hit him.

Looks like it?
I'm sure I heard the guy who was recording say 'It looks like Jesus rear ended you' or words to that effect.

To be fair it did look like there was a bend in the road about 1/2 mile up the road so he was probably hard on the anchors slowing it down from 50mph to 28mph for that bend.

This is the guy (2 wheel Jesus) who hits max wrist as he's turning around.

Rather apt what he says in this 1 minute video.

Fingers crossed for the guy in a coma, poor bugger.

Can someone explain which channels are actually his? There's loads up, none of which seem to fit.

Sad for those involved, but inevitable.

No one wanted that sort of event but it was only matter of time.

Agre but forgive my ignrance what the fk is this Maxxy/Wristy/Jesus/y thing all about?

Have they formed some travelling circus of utter muppetry funded by the airheads of the interweb?

Is the idiotic riding with the inevitable consequences their "Raison d'etre" or USP to appeal to the peanut gallery?

Apologies, but I'm kefuddled about what is going on or what it is meant to be about??? Help please confused

That's my understanding. They're earning enough from those (like us?) who watch the videos to set up a group with the sole task of making more videos. Remember, every time we click on the link to see what a muppet he's been this time Max gets a bung!

They get no revenue from me, ad-blocker innit!

Back to the point, they sell themselves as some kind of pinnacle of road riding, as some kind of supermen, heroes if you will. When the reality is, they're just point and squirt morons who can hoik a minger (which I can't , so fair play). I dare say there's a fair few on here who would give them an absolute fking hiding on road or track and do it in a much safer manner.

Anyway, if you want to point and squirt that's fine. However, they also seem to have a complete inability to exercise any form of judgement / impulse control. If you look back at some of the videos (especially the ones from Europe - Italy I think) there's a litany of issues:

  1. Close passes
  2. Poorly judged overtakes
  3. Wrong side of the road on blind bends
  4. God knows what else
Interestingly, I don't recall any "fan rideouts" in those days. It was just Maxwker and maybe one other guy doing this st.

The problem is, in moving to the States, all their sycophantic followers were suddenly much more accessible and these tts, Maxwker and WristSodomist, played on that. Fan rideouts / meets became a thing. Maxwker started riding beyond his (their?) own capability and were dragging other people into the mix. The sycophants lapped it up. No idea who this Jesus pleb is but I'd go out on a limb and say it's someone they "met" through the channel.

You can see from the videos that the number of accidents went up, whether it was Maxy (usually this idiot) / Wristy (usually this idiot) or one of the fans (on many occasions). This was inevitable and it's down to the manner of their riding. Not the speed, but the manner of it.

They've taken what is already a "dangerous" (relatively speaking, fixed level of risk blah blah blah) hobby and added additional layers of risk on top AND dragged others into the mix.

Is it unfortunate this has happened? Honestly, I don't know. I don't know either of these guys so, being completely honest, I don't really give a st about them. But, there is a lesson in this somewhere. Quite what it is I don't know...

Perhaps it's as simple as, don't be a ?
