Headed to sunny hunny to finish off the majority of running in of the Speed Triple today...had to go via the dealers as it had "transmission failure" , quickshifer had stopped working and the bike had gone into limp mode, dealer quickly diagnosed slack in the exhaust valve cable and had me on my way (have to try hard not to call it an EXUP valve...), no I cant see the link between an exaust valve and transmission failure either...
Fulled up an hour later and the bike couldnt "find" the key...having had similar before with an alarm on a petrol station forecourt many years ago, I pushed it off the forecourt and down the road a bit where it fired up straightaway...maybe an radio mast/antenna nearby or just coincidence..not sure yet.
Roads from Kings Lynn onwards where very busy but worth it for seaside chips and a double rum n raisin cone..
Now I can feed in some more revs and the tyres are nicely scrubbed in, I will have to twiddle with the suspension, its not like the demo bike I rode and is to harsh . for example, if your braking into a corner/roundabout and the bike hits a bump or such like, itll kick the rear wheel upwards and when it lands, you can feel the ABS pulsing through the pedal as the wheel has momentarily stopped spinning while its been in the air. Bumpy roads at 90+ have the bars skipping about but its not like the LC which is dancing all over the road at that speed, needing the lightest of touches to the pegs and bars as it all jostles about beneath you.
That aisde, its a riot to ride, the exhaust note and induction roar is very, very naughty , turns it so quickly, incredibly light , comfy, staggering brakes and I know itll wheelie like a b'std when I have it fully run in.

Nice! My inlaws live in Hunstanton and there's always loads of bikes there at the weekend. The King's Lynn road is always chocker - if you come in Swaffham/Fakenham way and past Sculthorpe air base it's a nicer and quieter road Fulled up an hour later and the bike couldnt "find" the key...having had similar before with an alarm on a petrol station forecourt many years ago, I pushed it off the forecourt and down the road a bit where it fired up straightaway...maybe an radio mast/antenna nearby or just coincidence..not sure yet.

Another night at a biker meet with great roads getting there. Nice 85+ miles although still warm really noticing it getting dark early now
My Tuono is upto 18,600 miles now and definitely my favourite road bike. Think next year I'll look at the new shape though

Saw some lovely examples as usual - so many bikes turn up here

I’m surprised the Mods let you post it tbh…

I'm looking at finalizing the mods to my bike and had a professional rendering done of what I expect my bike to look like next week. It's been a couple of years coming and I'm really really excited.

Hope you didn't pay too much for the render? They've just cropped a picture that's been floating around the web for a couple of years...
