Mix of inside and out but just changed starter for WOSP gear reduction chappie this afternoon, then dropped oil and popped sump off... In about one pizza's time will be installing an AN-10 turbo oil return port into it.
Pleased to see honing marks still clear in bores and cam looking good too, as well as debris free pick-up ... Have rubber sump gasket to fit when it goes back on tomorrow. Hope nothing climbs in there overnight eek

Renewed all 4 CV joints,
Renewed all PS hoses,
Remade PS bottle bracket,
Tried to bend rear ARB to get better action, failed smile,
Raised and twisted engine on its mounts cause the y piece tail was touching the chassis,
Cut off 2 locking wheel nuts, (don't ask!),
Found cause of rattles under car, (all damper ally rose joint sleeves had wear),
Various checking and fiddling about.

Cheers Simon, another long but good day! thumbup

Was over 22 years ago, straight out the box... Restricted for the UK... Careful application of a Stanley knife on the induction dropped those figures quite a bit wink

Seeing as I (and Southways) have been tinkering with it for a few weeks, today I cleaned, clayed, polished, waxed and vacuumed it! Looks mint.

1989, fastest production road bike ever tested by MCN. Real world figures. Case rests.

Any more questions?
