Hi all!
Year's ago I remember a fellow chimpster swapped seats. I am not a fan of the standard seats and fancy something a bit more supportive. Am I right in assuming mx5 seats fit? Has anyone done this and if so, how difficult is it?
Thanks in advance
biggrin

The first Chim I had came with Intatrim Odyssey seats, they were very supportive, just too small for my frame, but they were great and seemed well regarded. On a side note, if you have standard Chim seats and are looking to get rid, I might be interested!

Put Mark1 Cerbra seats in mine, comfy but had to take the runners off as they are higher.

rare as hens teeth though.

£100 for the seats which were in black from a Lotus dealer. About £300 or thereabouts to upholster in matching leather.

MX5 seats are supportive, I have one on the driver side however tried to fit the matching one on the passenger side and the roof won't go over it....
One day, now I've got a garage sorted I may try again.

Another one for the Odyssey seats. These are the slightly wider models.....along with heated seats! ;-)

Tuscan seats also fit, but are again in the hens teeth category.
