If you are still running the gearbox on ATF, its worth shifting to a light grade 75 grade synthetic gearbox oil like Castrol Syntrans that can reduce noise. The reason ATF was specified was simply the sycromesh was not strong enough to cut through standard mineral multigrade gearbox oils of the time, so a bodge was to run thin ATF oil. Things have moved on with synthetics and a 75 grade works pretty well. You can get a specific synthetic for the LT77 but you need to sell a body part to afford it.

The difflock oil made a big difference on my old car especially on track days when the oil got hot. I was impressed but it seems to have gone up a little!
