I need to replace my rocker cover gaskets went to my local Ford parts dealer today & was advised they are no longer available.
I am particularly interested in trying to find the ones with the steel pins in to avoid exerting pressure on the gasket.
Does anybody know a supplier of this type.

Thanks in advance.

That's cmadp. What he means is they no longer stock them. Try a decent independent motor factors.

The Genuine Ford/Motorcraft ones with the little anti crush spacers are more than likely now obsolete.

Any decent Motor Factors will be able to get you a pair of after market gaskets but never seen any others with those spacer things.

Little while back now I found some rubber ones on Ebay (in America), they're doing quite well, been on and off two or three times and still good.

Last year I got mine from the link above and used the originals as a template to drill out holes for the spacers.

I got a pair of these gasket some weeks ago (november). £4 each, from a well-known french online car part dealer. No difficulty, it was in stock. ELRING 764.213 with metal pins.

Le Halfrauds ?

Why the riddle, wouldn't it have been easier to just type their name ?

Just because it is a really big and well known firm in France that don't need me to make their advertising. But it's not a secret, it's Oscaro.

YES, Auto-doc, piecesauto24, mister-auto, yakarouler and all others can also supply this part. That's why I thought the name was not important idea
