Seeking Quality Wheel Nuts
Discussion
Just bought a set of these Ford Ghia wheel nuts for my Gottis (precat Griffith) but unfortunately they don’t fit due to the step taper. The parallel part of the floating washer is too wide to slide into the wheel stud hole.
The quality of these nuts, for £23, do look really good so does anyone know what I need from there product range?

Very good point.
I was looking at these, and some locking nuts - which I have ordered on click & collect, so can look at them before taking them.
I wonder if these are what we need, though I can't tell the seat angle:

How does that work?
Soz, I was referring to the locking nuts - I ordered them click/collect online from Euro Car Parts, then went to pick them up, and asked to look at them comparing them to the nut from the car, all under the proviso that if they weren't suitable I could return them. They were on offer with limited stock, so I wanted to ensure I reserved a set, hence the click/collect.As it happens, they are the right size, thread and seat angle, so I took them.
They were £12.49, now back at £35ish
