Chimera Wiper Blade size

I have just had some new wiper arms and blades delivered and the query I have is the length of blade.
The existing are 16” but the ones delivered for a post 99 model are 17”
Most of the sites list 16” are correct but Motoclan list 17”. PNo TVR 1243
My Chim is a 2000 4.0

I didn’t want to fit them as if they are wrong they will in their original packaging

Tried a search and no luck
I can’t imagine that half an inch at each end will make a difference but they could catch on each other

The wipers on my 2002 Chim are 400mm or 15 3/4”

My Aero blades are 17" & 18" & work fine. Cover the screen with no problems.

I have fitted the new 17” wipers together with new wiper arms and they fit well

I did receive a message from Motaclan below with explanation

There are 2 different sizes for the different years. 1994 to 1999 use the 16” wiper blade and 1999 to 2002 use the 17” blade. This is due to the wiper arm’s being different between these years.
