Mark Adams Tornado chip, what are the benifits.
Discussion
Midge - like Craig in Scotland I've had a Mark Adams 'best guess' chip fitted to my 4.3 Griffith. I would advise you to go for it as it improves the car throughout the rev range. Very civilised at low revs - no shunting, etc.
I hope to get a rolling road session in future to fine tune the chip, not because there are any problems, but I believe from others experience that it would further enhance performance. In practice there may only be a small increase in peak performance (power/torque) but the 'across the rev range' performance feels appreciably improved without affecting consumption.
Has made an already sweet and smooth engine better.
Go for it.
