Hi,

Does anyone know which way the screw (at the top of the door) should be turned to raise the window on a Chimaera?

Its tighter than a ducks but so I want to know which way first so I don't duff the head of the screw up after lowering it even more

Thanks in advance.

To raise the window on my Griff, I wound the screw outwards. I had about an inch of thread showing by the time the window made the top seal. Was starting to worry that i'd unscrew it too much and lose the screw down the side of the door, but luckily it stayed in, and the window now seals!
Hope this helps

Lower the window right down to gain access to the brush. About half way along the door, below the brush, you will find a screw at angle of about 35 degrees. You'll have to part the brush with a scredriver to see it.

Turn this anticlockwise to raise the window and... you got it.

Cheers

I've just had a look for the screw -- can't locate it on my Chimaera except by feel with the end of a screwdriver. How high is it?

Adjusted both my windows yesterday. Took about 10 mins for the adjustment and testing and about 1 hour to "locate" the screw each time! In the end I gave up trying to see what I was doing and just did it by feel (always the best way anyway!!). The screw head was almost under the aluminium bar holding the brushes and visibility was very limited. Head was about 2 inches below door trim.

Yep, around 2 inches down from the edge. Maybe you need a torch (or a garage ).

Or maybe it fell off
