XK8 or something probably German

I've never payed a huge amount of attention to the XK8, but recently whenever I see one I think 'you know what? I'd quite like one of those'. A low mileage early XK8 would be ideal, the extra straight line speed of the R nice but not particularly necessary and probably comes with its downsides?


Is this just a silly fancy? Should I just continue eyeing up Mercedes 500E's, 500SL's and V8 M5s, does the cat not cut it as a warranty-less used purchase for someone without a large disposable income?

I did this summer and its great. Not many around so quite rare. Gets loads of looks. People come up to you in car parks and just start chatting.

All that and its a great car too!! Just do your homework to get the right one and you too will smile every time you see it on the drive!
