The windows on my XK8 have an anoying habit of losing their memory ! I know the handbook gives instructions for re-programming (it must be an expected problem) but has anyone discovered what causes it ? I have had the battery tested.
HI, HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT IT DID TURN OUT TO BE THE BATTERY. THE VOLTAGE DROP WAS JUST TOO MUCH ON STARTING FROM COLD. ALSO TRACTION WARNING LIGHT USED TO COME ON FOR A SPLIT SECOND WHEN CRANKING. HOPE THIS HELPS.
