Would have liked a Moonstone, but compromised on the white once the pricing 'error' came to light. Should be an enjoyable few years of motoring once it arrives!

Have you been given an indicative date? Current lease ends in August so not too worried about delivery at the moment.

I have gone for white and standard spec and wheels - June July I was told but.......

Solid white and 19" wheels here. No contact from the dealer as yet. Had a mk7 R manual that I really enjoyed so curious to see what the Mk8 is like. Another useful forum is https://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?board=137...

They have a mk8 section and mostly its GTI chatter.

Was told July however a Touareg we have on order since March 21 still has not arrived and the dealer is saying September. Hopefully these genuinely are going to arrive July/August.

I've informally extended my 8 series until Nov so have a bit of wiggle room.

Delivery is timescale is important to know as I was planning on sending the Tiguan back early but if its going to be delayed then I wont and will extend - Hopefully we will get a reply from Inchscape soon - I did email Robyn yesterday but no reply yet - maybe she is on a day off.

Hi all, since I started all this thought it would be rude not to join this thread. Hopefully I'll not be accused of being a lying Arval-employed scumbag on this one

Current car is a Leon Cupra Lux with Arval, that was a good deal in 2019. Fun car, but previously had a Golf R estate on one of the cracking 2017 deals which I loved. Cupra sometimes feels a bit of a downgrade.

Well I may as well join the party. I am hoping the CS will be more involving than my 7.5 wagon. Don’t get me wrong it was a seriously accomplished piece of kit but maybe to much. Have a good feeling the CS is going to be that bit more fun!!!

I don't know why VW dealers are still doing this. The tracker hasn't been available for months, they took it down long ago.

Yeah hopefully the gremlins were on early cars, should have had long enough to sort it out.
Main worry I have is the lack of DCC on these - hope it's not too harsh. My Cupra has it and it does soften things up quite well. My previous R didn't have it and that was fine tbh. Hoping this is similar
