Just had an email saying November for me also - but could go back or forwards
I am edging towards cancelling as my gut tells me 2022 is unlikely for these cars.

I cancelled. Ordered June 2021 and the last update I had was expected build June 2022. It kept slipping week but week. When I bought a car from stock recently I was chatting to a few of the sales team. They were advising 18 months for any performance golf if it was ordered Feb 2022

Anyone waiting for their GTI/ Clubsport will want to be aware of this: https://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=288...
The equipment/ options are being removed due to chip shortages, much like BMW are doing

This is the reply I got
We received a bulletin yesterday that from today they will be removing some items / options from ordering on any new order from the 16th March 2022 to help ease the backlog and existing demand on chips however it did not mention anything on existing orders in place and or any changes to that plan.

I dont pretend to understand the impact of the chip shortage but looking at the list shown on that link I am surprised that folding wing mirrors, illuminated Grill is an issue and the computer dash is not???The equipment/ options are being removed due to chip shortages, much like BMW are doing
LED Matrix Headlights
Illuminated Grill
Harmon Kardon Sound System
Side assist including folding door mirrors

My update today is October delivery. Thankfully I'm able to extend my Mégane RS informally which I don't mind at all
Thats great news - are you on the Arval deal? - have you got a build date - The dealer said to me today "he order has not still been confirmed at the factory, similar to a number of other models in the same status." so I am assuming that the November date he gave me before is still guess work

Thats interesting - I am just about to sign up for a 6 month extension on my existing car and while they said June/July it slipped to August and then the last few weeks they have been saying November - my extension would take me to December
Hi all, yeas same here, Inchcape just told ne October/November, but warned me it may be longer. Bit disappointed but in the current climate can't be helped. So now do I extend my Cupra lease or buy an old stupid money pit to tide me over 6 month 😂Sportaz said:

I dont think these GTI CS cars will land in 2022. Crazy to think these were ordered as a batch in summer 2021. I am going to cancel as I cannot keep my 8 series beyond end of Oct. Plus I think there is a facelift due pretty much by the time these cars land if I am not mistaken
Thing is there are not many other options - I would buy something on PCP but still no stock for things I want - accept thats not the point of leasing but this car wouldnt have been my first choice - but a good dealGassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
