I have driven a P reg'd Griffith a fair bit and to be it handles identically to my 4.0L Chimaera - the early Griffiths were different, but any of the more recent cars are so similar. (Of course the Griffith was a lot faster ...)

If I am going for it, it takes me 0.7 seconds from lifting off and getting back onto the power. `This makes double declutching and bliping on the way up a tad difficult/slow .... so I don't normally do it.

A couple of years ago I took about 18 differnt Griffi and Chimaerae out at Mallory showing owners how quick their cars actually were. I was amazed at the differences almost to the point that you could tell what year the car was from the way it handled. 4.x Griffi were as twitchy as anything. 4.x Chimaera would roll an awful lot. Griff 500 had tremendous grunt but were more refined than the 4.x cars and the 500 Chimaeras were right hard to keep on the limit as they tended to roll even more than the Griffs did.

Yes the cars have the same chasiis well from 1996 and the same dimensions but they do handle differently. In some cases it does not show until they are pushed hard though.
