Sorry. Another samey question. But I really can’t get much real world sense from anywhere else.

The Range Rover is one of the last 2012 L332s, minimal miles, very high spec. A Discovery would be a 2014/5 Discovery HSE.

Whichever it is will be used for towing a car transporter with a saloon race car. So not massive weight, but I’d like an easy comfortable tow. Mileage won’t be too serious...5-8k a year I’d think. Some will be long, cruisey motorway journeys.

My uncertainty is regarding relaibility, particularly around the tech, and general liveability. Which one’s better? Which would you have?

I have driven loads of Disco's (all generations), I think in the main they are pretty good...I would have a newer Disco over an L322. They are very comfortable and make an effortless cruiser. They also have a large boot with a flat load area should you want to carry tyres/spares in the car, super practical and seem to be holding up well price range as the new Disco is not very popular. I have an L405 but if I was buying a car for the reasons you describe I would have the D4.
